You do not see many of these large BOWS anymore.. THIS DRESS WAS FEATURED IN MANY ADVERTISEMENTS FOR THE SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL.. DRESS IS A FLOCKED ORGANDY MATERIAL IN A DOVE PRINT.. MATCHING BLUE RIBBON AROUND WAIST. Dress and lace is crisp. I don’t see tears but there is some brown aging spots. Onesie is crisp with brown aging spots, and one little hole. Has both snap top shoes. Left shoe has sole starting to seperate and buckle on top is gone. Socks are there but have holes in them. She signed on back of neck: Shirley temple 18, marked on back: Shirley Temple 18. Marked on inside of leg: 18. Marked on inside of dress tag: 18. The tag on side of dress reads: Genuine Shirley Temple Doll Registered US Pat. The tag is barely holding on, But is still there. Torn on both ends. The bows are worn and frayed. The buttons have nice paint design and color. Her face body and arms show little signs of wear. Tiny knick on left pinky, and tiny knick on right pointer finger. No crazing or cracks. The Structure and Cosmetic condition of the Composition paint etc. On this doll is what makes it nice. Paint and makeup have good color. Original button is on front with good clear advertising, light scuffs. Button Reads The Worlds Darling Genuine Shirley Temple doll Rug US Pat Off Her signature Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. Her eyes are glazed over and has some eyelash damage. The Original rubber band is intact and holding together. She has some gray scuff on arm and back of leg, looks like it could be cleaned off. Im not going to try to clean it off. In condition that I found it in local estate. Please feel free to ask any questions. I will show condition best I can with pictures.
