Here is a great set of quality stamps with every stamp a beginning leather worker will need and more or for an experienced Leather worker who needs more stamps to improve their work and can pay for them by reselling the stamps they dont need. These stamps were all made in the USA except 1 and many made before 1969. We all know that with Tools, the older the tool is the better the tool was made. Below I will add a list of all the stamps along with the Maker Marks. You can also look at their website to see how expensive these stamps are individually. These stamps contain no rust and very few of them have small chips on their face. Please look at the photos closely to see what you are getting. They are in great shape and have many, many more years of use left. There are some duplicate numbers but when they have a different maker stamp on them that means the stamp was made at a different time so It is usually slightly different than a stamp with the same number but different maker mark. Once the numbering of tools began, they were marked with Craftool Co and just a number. This type of marking was consistent up through 1962. In 1963, they started adding a letter prefix to the number. From 1963 until around 1969 they were marked with Craftool Co. And a number with a letter before it to identify the type of tool it was. Around 1969, they began marking the tools with Craftool Co. USA plus the number and the letter prefix. This continued until the later years of the company. They eventually changed to marking them with Craftool USA and the number with the letter prefix. This continued to be the practice until they closed their manufacturing plant in 1999. This was the last time Craftools were made in the USA. Do not confuse genuine Craftools with tools made by Craft Co. The tools made by Craft Japan have no relation to the original Craftool Company.
