LIONEL POSTWAR VERY NICE 2333 RUBBER STAMPED LARGE LETTER F3 AAs 1948. These 2333 rubber stamped F3s are in very nice original condition. The majority of these early NYCs had very poor paint adhesion to the shell; therefore, they usually show more black than gray paint. The dummy unit has one area between the horns on the roof and one tiny area on the nose beneath its dimple – see photos. The power unit is very nice. Both units’ rubber stamped lettering is clean and crisp, decals are complete, no rust, etc. As shown, the dummy is missing a number board and both may be missing portholes. These should be easy fixes. They could use more of a cleaning to show more nicely as I was apprehensive to do much. Overall, these are nice clean units that have retained their paint very well.
