WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT IT. Bracelet is a fabulous and rare hand crafted early Fred Harvey piece hand constructed in every way with gorgeous hand stamping and repoussee´ elements. This is a superb and beautiful bracelet indeed. A sister to it appears in a book, where it is described as “Baroque era, 1930s, dog bracelet” and is treated with honor. The silver work is immaculate, there are stamps of birds, dogs, a. Face, bear claws and very fine other stamps all deep, precise, perfectly executed. The repoussee´ work is also amazing and unique. All very precisely executed. It’s one of the best I’ve seen, with a gorgeous feel to the hand, heavy and the kind of feel you get from high grade silver. It’s both exquisite and elegant. Excellent vintage, wearable and collectible condition. Wonderful age related wear and patina. Internal length silver alone of 5-3/4″, gap of 1″ total 6-3/4. Width of 1-5/8″ center, tapering to 7/8″ at the rounded terminals for comfort. Weight of 48.45grams. No hallmark and not marked for silver content, both usual for those times. Tests as sterling silver. 925 and the artist is unknown. Wonderful hand constructed bracelet with very fine early stamp work and repousse´ both central and on the sides; this elaborate silver work represents the best hand made work of the early Fred Harvey era. This special piece dates to the 1930s and it is a sister bracelet to one in a book, definitely by the same artist and design, very special. Everything was carefully created; there is nothing sloppy or haphazard about this bracelet, and the overall look is magical. I recommend it for the best of collections; it is museum worthy and so breathtaking that I personally can’t take my eyes off it. It is a delight to wear and to hold, too.
