Offered for sale, a WWII era M1 30 cal Carbine original Underwood Dog Leg Hammer with Spring and Guide from my neighbor’s rifle. My neighbor is a retired Naval Captain who served during Vietnam and the rifle from his father used during WWII. My neighbor used this as a teen and he is in his mid 70’s. This Hammer is stamped -U- for Underwood. This is a type 2 Dog Leg Hammer. It also comes with the matching Spring and Guide. I’m not an expert in this area.
