This is a Wilton model 820 baby bench vise with 2 inch jaws. It has a date stamp of 11-75. It has smooth jaw inserts. The overall length is 6 3/4, the base is 3 in diameter, the jaws open to 2 3/4. The vise is in good overall condition except for in the crack on the back ring. See pictures for further details. Ive just learned that even though this vise is date stamped November 1975 it would have been cast before 1957. That is because Wilton moved their factory from Chicago to Schiller Park, Illinois in 1957. They must of had a lot of Chicago castings of the baby vises when they moved. Then slowly completed those and put them up for sale at which point they were date stamped.
