Up for sale is an early vintage ZUNI Double Row TURQUOISE Cuff Bracelet made of solid Sterling Silver by JP UKESTINE. This older cuff bracelet was left to me by my grandparents, along with several other Native American jewelry items I have listed. This particular cuff, which is an earlier made piece by Ukestine, has a double row of snake eye turquoise stones. Its in very good vintage condition. There are a total of 30 stones, 15 in each row, and each one is secure inside a sawtooth bezel. The stones still have their bold and vivid original color due to the fact that it has been in a safe for the last few decades and not exposed to the elements. The colors are gorgeous from blue to green and everything in between! The cuff is made of solid sterling silver (unstamped, but tested, verified, and guaranteed) and it doesnt seem to be very adjustable. It is signed on the inside with the artists initials JP. I believe this stands for a couple named Jason and Pearl. Next to the initials their last name Ukestine is engraved. Below the artists name is another engraving of Zuni which is the tribe that these artists are a part of. The cuff is very o rnate with deep etchings and stamping work all done by hand. I remember my grandparents having this cuff when I was a very little girl so I would say its at least 50 years old, possibly older. Inner circumference end to end – 4 15/16. Gap/opening – 1 3/8. Total inner circumference including gap – 6 5/16. Weight in grams – a solid 50 grams. Stamped sterling – NO. Signed by artist – YES. Please ask any questions you may have.
