Vintage Southwestern Native American Indian Sterling silver stamped concho belt hatband, unmarked by most likely Navajo. This hatband showcases 15 nicely stamped rectangular conchos, a buckle, keeper, and tip. All pieces are stamped with the same Native American motif. The conchos have double keepers and are all the same size, 1 1/8″ across by 3/8″ in height. The buckle is about 1 1/8″ across by 1 1/8″ tall. The keeper is almost 5/16″ across by 1/2″ tall, and just shy of 3/8 deep. The tip is 1/2″ across, by 1/2″ tall, and just over 1/8 deep. The strap shows some signs of wear, but it’s still in good shape. The hatband weighs approximately 52 grams, and it’s 26 1/2 long from end of buckle to tip. The distance between the buckle’s hook and the hole setting is about 24. The conchos have some light scratches on it, virtually unnoticeable, especially when worn, considering the brushed, matte look of the silver. Lots of conchos and nice silver work!
