Huge Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise stamped Sterling silver concho belt, unmarked, but most likely Navajo. Exceptional Native American motif pattern hand-stamped on heavy gauge conchos adorned with a single sky-blue sleeping beauty turquoise in the center, set in a serrated bezel. There are 10 conchos plus a concho-buckle, slightly rounder than the others. Nice dark patina left untouched. Each concho is about 2 3/4″ wide by 2 1/4″ tall. The buckle is 2 3/4″ wide by 2 7/16″ tall approximately. Each concho has 2 copper keepers and they accommodate a 1 1/2 wide strap nicely. This piece weighs a hefty 495.5 grams! The belt is almost 41 long from end of buckle to tip of strap. The distance from the hook to the first hole is 33 1/2″, 34 1/2″ to the second, and 35 3/8 to the third and last hole. The strap has some folds and marks from normal wear, but no tears. Exceptional stones and silver work. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
