WWII Era Cutlery/Metal Stamping Kit – MintCondition. This is original military issue equipment marked U. With the label of WILLIAM FEVERSHAM 1ST SGT. USA on the lower right hand corner in a classic wood fitted box and in fair condition. It is a 3/32 character size steel stamp kit used by the military to stencil information on equipment by simply hitting the letter or number stencil with the small hammer included with the block die as a backing. The stencil is the very desired “serif” style and has the holding screw for the die block with holding spring clamps. The die is marked with the item it is used to stamp such as spoon or fork. This is a collector item as well as being a usable item for our everyday use. It was made with quality steel in those days. The box itself is a classic with original markings that have U. Stamps in FAIR condition, slightly used, some very used and some stamps brand new. Most of the stamps still will strike a symbol, but not as sharp as a new stamp(number and letter) complete. The label is an illustration of a M-1906 single hole identification tag affixed to the inside of the wooden box. This label/tag will read. The label is a sample for the imprinter to follow when imprinting identification tags so he marked them to military specs. This offer is a great deal for a collector who wants WWII memorabilia. The set is genuine with the genuine label(as indicated above). The labels are a bit worn and parts of the label is missing. The stamps vary in condition of stamp and some may have a bend in them.
