I looked online and I couldn’t find this specific one, but there’s an informative site (lafire dot com) that dates this style (Series One) from 1886 to June 30, 1928. The front reads “LOS ANGELES FIRE DEPARTMENT 34 VOLUNTEER” ; on the reverse it’s hallmarked CHIPRON STAMP CO 224 W. FIRST ST LOS ANGELES. The badge measures 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ at the widest points. In very good original condition. Normal overall usage wear commensurate with age – mostly light surface scratches as shown. Pin and clasp open and close with ease and lock securely. Please study the photos as they are a part of the description Fresh out of an estate and offered here for the first time. We do not falsify claim forms.
