Southwestern Native American Indian turquoise Sterling silver cuff bracelet, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This bracelet showcases a vibrant blue-green stone, possibly Royston, with a striking copper brown matrix. The cabochon is set in a smooth bezel wrapped in beads and framed by tiny crescent moons all around wrapped in a flat twisted wire on the outside. The stone sits on a 3-tine shank that merges together at the upper shank with deep stamp work down to the terminals. The outer tines are carinated and the center tine is twisted wire style. This cuff weighs about 41.5 grams, it’s 1 3/4. ” wide, and measures 5 3/8″ around the inside, end to end. Add just over 3/4 for the gap. The stone alone is roughly 1 3/16″ tall by 11/16″ wide, from bezel to bezel. Looks like it is slightly bent but any jeweler could warm the silver and straighten it if desired. I think it is probably fine the way it is. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
