Southwestern Native American turquoise Sterling silver stamped concho belt or hatband, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This lovely concho belt / hatband showcases 24 conchos hand-stamped and adorned by a turquoise stone set in a serrated bezel in the center of each piece. The conchos measure approximately 1″ in width (across) x 5/8″ in height, with a single 3/8″ wide brass keeper in the back that holds the 5/16″ wide strap. The buckle has the same stamp design as the conchos, but it’s slightly bigger at 1 1/16″ wide x almost 3/4″ tall. If used as a hatband, there is actually enough conchos in this band to make two of them with different color straps. The black leather belt strap that comes with it is in fairly good shape, measures 37 with 6 holes settings. The strap is 32″ long when from hook to the first hole, and about 36 1/2″ when attached to the last, which is near the tip of the strap. Classic Navajo work with nice Southwestern design.
