I don’t have a multi-thousand dollar metal tester, so I can’t tell you the specific Silver content. I believe it to be made from US Coins that were. 90 Silver Sterling Silver is. It is of course not hallmarked, as was common before the 1970’s. It is a “Phase One Revival” style and my guess is that it was made in the 1940’s +/. I love to find Concho Belts and to trade them. It is a rare pleasure to offer this Old Coin Silver Concho Belt for sale to you. The Belt has some very interesting drilled accents and stamping. Some of the stamps look like they were made using files. The Repousse domes very slightly in height and configuration. I has lots of tarnish, especially on the backsides. The Concho Belt is Not stamped “Sterling”, but it is guaranteed to be Coin Silver. These conchas are thick, heavy, and very well worked. The dark glowing tarnished patina is quite desirable to collectors and has it has had several decades of careful ownership.
