Native American Indian petrified wood Sterling silver stamped cuff bracelet, unmarked but most likely Navajo. This old beauty features a stunning dark orange and black petrified wood stone with some white and light orange spots on it. The stone is set in a smooth bezel wrapped in twisted wire, and framed by a border crafted with tiny silver raindrops and etched scrolls. The cabochon sits on a sturdy 2-tine shank beautifully stamped down to the terminals where they merge. Two repousse designs were applied to each side of the cuff, over the carinated tines. This lovely piece weighs approximately 45.5 grams, it’s about 1 5/8. ” wide, and measures just over 5 5/8″ around the inside, end to end. Add 1 for the gap. The stone alone is 1 5/16″ by 7/8″, measured from bezel to bezel. Exceptional petrified wood and silver work. Thank you for supporting authentic Native American art.
