Antique original OEM 1936 Indian Four cylinder frame. Frame has the correct stampings / markings intact. The serial number on the rear lower stamping is 436486 which indicates 1936 based on the 436 designation. This frame is really solid for the age. The neck looks great. At some point in its life the RH side of this frame sustained some damage and was pushed in. You can see the extent of the damage in the photos. I think an experienced frame restoration expert could make this perfect again on a jig. There is also 1 crack near one of the weld points on this frame that looks like it will be an easy repair. These original Indian Four cylinder frames are getting harder and harder to find. The Prewar Four frames are almost non existent any more! We have what we think is a fair and reasonable reserve on this frame considering its rarity and what needs to be done for it to be a perfect starting point for a four build.
