It is in mint condition with no damage or issues whatsoever. As is common with older Navajo jewelry, there is no hallmark, but I guarantee it to be completely sterling silver. The length is 22 1/4 inch counting the hook and eye closure. Not counting the closure, it is 21 1/4 and weighs a substantial, yet comfortable 73 grams. This necklace has saucer shaped bench-made beads that are each hand wrought, cut, stamped, drilled and strung on sterling chain. They are deeply stamped both on the top and bottom of each bead, making this exceptionally nice. The sterling has a natural aged patina showing off the precise professional stamp work. There are no gaps; its solid close beading. Each bead is 10 mm wide and has been smoothly polished showing no seam where the beads have been soldered together, another sign of superior workmanship. Its almost impossible to find a stamped Navajo pearl necklace that is non-graduated. For those of you who want to hang your favorite pendants on your necklace, non-graduated beads are what you need, making this hard-to-find necklace even more desirable and versatile. Its the perfect strand of coveted Navajo pearls and a wonderful addition to your collection of Native-made jewelry. The item “Vintage Stamped Navajo Pearls 10mm NON-GRADUATED Sterling 22 1/4 73 gr.
