The stock has a beautiful glowing patina and is in very good solid condition. The fancy P Inside Circle on the butt grip underside places this to the Springfield armory somewhere around 1917 according to research. And the AAB is Augusta armory. There is way too much information out there for us to make a perfect judgement so please look closely at all the stamp marks and you’ll likely understand better than us. Condition is very good. One of the pictures shows what appears to be a crack on the edge of the magazine cutout, but we scrutinized very closely and it is indeed just a mild scratch that virtually resembles a crack but is not.
