Antique Madame Hendren “Dimmie” (or Jimmie) composition doll with “twist” waist. She measures approximately 14 inches tall. She is stamped on her back with Madame Hendren Doll Patent Pending. She has an adorable face with a cute painted mouth with a molded (and very cute) tongue. Molded and painted hair in a short bob so classic to the period. She was made around 1929. Her composition body is jointed at the shoulders and hips with a ball mechanism at the waist line. She is wearing a vintage cotton dress that her former owner placed on her. There are no other clothing items and no shoes. We cannot tell you how super darling this hard-to-find doll is to us!! She is from a long-time collector and UFDC member’s collection. She has been well loved for decades but now it is time for her to find a new loving family. Do not miss this chance to own a great doll from the early Depression Era. So, so hard to find! Good but there is some paint wear/chipping but face is very good, well strung and poses well, replaced vintage dress with no other clothing or accessories, soiling from long time doll room display, no fade, no odors, no doll stand.
